Meet The Bands!
Composer/arranger Duane Benjamin musically directed the first few cabarets of StandardMel. The success of those shows prompted an expansion of the StandardMel experience by adding 4 horns to the group. Trumpet, Trombone, Tenor Sax and Bari Sax are an exciting addition that brings in a lot more of that “swinging” big band sound. Mel Collins & The Ben-jamin horns keeps the jazz element of StandardMel and raises the fun just a bit.
